Celebrate Recovery New Brighton

The purpose of the Celebrate Recovery Ministry at First Baptist is to change the course of our lives, from following selfish ambitions and personal desires which end up causing us so much grief, to knowing and following God's perfect and Christ-centered plan and purpose for our lives which will by necessity lead us out of bondage to our old, painful resentments, hurts, addictions, and habits. Our healing is to be for His glory, not our own satisfaction.

We are once again holding in-person meetings!

Celebrate Recovery Outreach (Aug 30 - Sep 3)

We will not be meeting on Tuesday, August 30 because we will be doing Step 12 at the Big Knob Fair. Step 12 tells us to carry the message of recovery and reconciliation to others. I hope you will join us at the fair this week or at the First Baptist Church of New Brighton next Tuesday (Sep 5, 2022) as we return to our regular meetings.

Tuesday Nights

Celebrate Recovery is not like a Sunday morning church service; Sunday mornings are a time when the Church gathers to worship God (we certainly need that too). Around here, Tuesday nights are designed to bring healing from our hurts and habits through the power of God and the fellowship of others who are also struggling or are now enjoying victory over those hurts. It's not just for those struggling with hurts and habits, but for their friends and family members too. Family and friends often do not know how to help or to find healing themselves from all the chaos and broken promises. You can find answers and healing here at Tuesday Night Oasis.
