The purpose of the Celebrate Recovery Ministry at First Baptist is to change the course of our lives, from following selfish ambitions and personal desires which end up causing us so much grief, to knowing and following God's perfect and Christ-centered plan and purpose for our lives which will by necessity lead us out of bondage to our old, painful resentments, hurts, addictions, and habits. Our healing is to be for His glory, not our own satisfaction.

We are once again holding in-person meetings!

Winter 2019

Beginning the new year of 2019, we will begin again with the Celebrate Recovery 12 Steps. This is the start of our ninth year of Celebrate Recovery and we hope you will join us.

Celebrate Recovery is not only for those struggling with addiction, anger, resentment, co-dependency or any other issues; it is also for the concerned family members and friends of those struggling.  By the way, that is how this CR got started, I began attending the CR on Monday's at Pathway Church in Chippewa with a friend who needed to be there. Here is what I've learned over the past ten years: those struggling need the involved support of friends and family and often those friends and family have some issues as well. Maybe they aren't as pronounced or obvious, but let's face it, we all struggle with something.

I hope to see you on Friday's at Celebrate Recovery.

PLEASE NOTE:
There will be no CR meetings on Friday, April 26 and May 3.  We will meet again beginning May 10 as we continue with Step 6.
